Simon, making his second appearance for the Paris club, put in a strong performance for the hosts before being substituted in the 63rd minute for Matondo.

Paris FC took the lead in the 21st minute when Lassine Sinayoko converted from the penalty spot following a VAR check. Samir Chergui extended the lead in the 51st minute with a low drive to the delight of the home crowd, before Vincent Marchetti added a third in the 89th minute to seal a comprehensive win.
