Nigerian right-back Kingsley Ehizibue has completed a move to Genoa from fellow Serie A side Udinese.
Ehizibue spent four years at Udinese following his arrival from Bundesliga club FC Cologne in 2022, registering four goals and two assists in 119 appearances across all competitions for the club.

Speaking to Genoa’s official website, Ehizibue said the move felt significant to him personally, referencing an earlier point in his career when he had turned down an offer from the club. He said his outlook has since changed, and that he now feels genuine joy at the prospect of representing Genoa, thanking the club for the opportunity.
Filling Out The Full-Back Roster
Genoa Chief of Football Diego Lopez welcomed the signing, pointing to Ehizibue’s pace, mileage and knowledge of Serie A as valuable additions to the squad. He said the 31 year old’s arrival completes the club’s full-back options, and that the coaching staff expect his athleticism and adaptability to allow him to contribute quickly.

Ehizibue will begin training with his new Genoa teammates in the coming days as he settles into the next chapter of his career in Italy.
