Real Betis are reportedly interested in Olympiacos left back Bruno Onyemaechi, according to transfer reporter Ekrem Konur. The Nigeria international is 27, and his contract with the Greek champions runs until the summer of 2028.

There is no concrete offer and no active negotiation between the clubs. Reports say Betis are watching the situation ahead of the January window.

What Olympiacos Want

Olympiacos were expected to let him leave last summer but kept him. They are now reportedly ready to listen to offers, with a valuation of around €6 million.

The club signed him from Boavista in January 2025 for between €2 million and €2.5 million, depending on the report. Transfermarkt values him at €2.5 million. Fans following transfers can read the Bet9ja promo code of the day before the window opens.

Why Betis Like Him

Betis already have Fran García and Junior Firpo at left back, but Onyemaechi offers a different profile. At 1.84m he can also play as a wing-back and has been used higher up the flank.

Olympiacos signed left back Nair Tiknizyan this summer, and reports say he is the main option for coach Imanol Alguacil. We describes Onyemaechi as lacking regular game time.

A Return to Spain?

Spain isn’t new for him. Las Palmas and Getafe were both linked with Onyemaechi while he played for Boavista.

He won the 2024/25 Greek Super League and Greek Cup with Olympiacos, and a move to La Liga would give him a bigger stage. New bettors following the story can read Bet9ja’s bonus code at a glance.

What Comes Next

Reports link Betis’ interest to the January transfer window, and no bid has been made so far.

Onyemaechi came through the Feirense academy and made his first team debut in 2020. He played 29 games there before moving to Boavista, where he made 42 appearances.
