Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has declared that the club will not entertain any offers for Nigeria international Victor Osimhen this summer.
The 27 year old has been strongly linked with a move to Premier League champions Arsenal, who are reportedly keen on bringing him to England, with reports suggesting the Gunners could include Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri as part of a potential deal. Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have also been credited with interest in the striker.

Speaking to Habersarikirmizi, Özbek made clear that the club’s stance is firm regardless of the fee involved. He said he would not approve any sale that worked against Galatasaray’s interests, and that the same commitment he had previously expressed about keeping winger Barış Alper Yılmaz applied even more strongly to Osimhen, insisting that no amount of money would change his decision.
Osimhen has continued to deliver for Galatasaray on the pitch, scoring twice to help the club salvage a 2-2 draw against newly promoted Corum on the opening weekend of the new Süper Lig season, a result that underlined why the club’s hierarchy remains so reluctant to sanction a sale.
