Hull City have completed the signing of midfielder Tim Iroegbunam from Everton for an undisclosed fee.
Iroegbunam, who is eligible to represent Nigeria through his parents, has signed a five-year contract with the Tigers, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2031. He began his senior career at Aston Villa after coming through West Bromwich Albion’s academy, before a move to Everton where he made 60 Premier League appearances across two seasons.

Speaking to Hull City’s official website, Iroegbunam said he was very happy to have completed the move, revealing he had heard about the club’s interest early in pre-season before an injury briefly threatened to derail the deal. He credited conversations with the club’s owner and defender Ryan Giles for helping convince him to join, and said he was looking forward to bringing his Premier League experience to help the team push as high up the table as possible.

Iroegbunam remains uncapped at senior level for both England and Nigeria, despite representing England at Under-19 and Under-20 level, including a UEFA European Under-19 Championship win in 2022.
