A Proven Track Record On This Stage

This will be Edo Queens’ second appearance in the regional competition. The Benin City club won the WAFU B Champions League outright on their debut in 2024, a result that secured their place at that year’s CAF Women’s Champions League, where they went on to finish fourth overall, the best showing yet by a Nigerian club at the tournament.

With Edo Queens having recently strengthened their squad by signing NWFL Player of the Season Kemi Adegbuyi from FC Robo Queens, expectations will be high that they can repeat their 2024 form and secure another route to the continental championship.
