Amuneke Declares Heartland Ready for NNL Promotion Battle

Heartland FC technical adviser Emmanuel Amuneke has declared that the club is well prepared for the Nigeria National League (NNL) promotion fight. The Naze Millionaires, relegated at the end of the 2024/25 NPFL season, have been drawn in Southern Conference Group A, where they will contend with Crown FC, Sunshine Stars, Inter FC Lagos, and others.

Amuneke emphasised that since the team resumed its rebuilding efforts in June, he believes they have made sufficient progress to compete for automatic promotion. “We have been expecting the draw and with what we have done since June when the team resumed rebuilding, we are ready to compete,” he said. He also stated that Heartland respects all their group rivals and acknowledged that each club deserves a place in the competition.
