Ranchers Bees have parted ways with technical adviser Usman Abd’Allah after a poor start to the 2026/27 NPFL season. As reported by FootballInNigeria.com.ng, the Kaduna club announced the decision on Sunday, two days after a 3-1 defeat to Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

The club said the split was by mutual agreement, and that some members of the technical crew are leaving with him. It thanked Abd’Allah for his efforts and wished him success in the future.

Abd’Allah lasted 115 days in the job. He won two, drew two and lost five of his nine league games, leaving the Bees 18th on eight points.

A Struggle Since Promotion

The Bees returned to the top flight this season after 16 years away. They had gone five league games without a win before the Shooting Stars loss.

The Bees equalised through Isah Ndala Aliyu in Ibadan, but conceded twice more and left empty handed.

A Second Exit This Season

Abd’Allah is the second coach to leave an NPFL job this season, after Shakiru Giwa quit Inter Lagos earlier this month.

It’s also his second exit in 2026. He left Remo Stars after six months, when the former NPFL champions were relegated.

What Next For The Bees

The club is expected to name an interim coach while it looks for a permanent replacement. The next league game is against Doma United, who were fifth in the table after Matchday 8.

Is a change of coach the answer? It often gives a squad a short term lift, but the Bees’ problems go beyond one man. They need to start scoring more regularly.

The next appointment will be one of the most important decisions of the Bees’ first season back. Their NPFL survival may depend on it.
