Enyimba goalkeeper Ojo Onyema has declared that only victory will satisfy the People’s Elephant when they face Nasarawa United in their next Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash.
Speaking with confidence before the fixture, Onyema insisted that Enyimba must approach the encounter with a winner’s mentality, stressing that every point counts in the push for the 2025/26 NPFL crown.
“It’s three points or nothing for us. Enyimba has a standard to protect, and we must play like champions,” Onyema stated.
The Aba giants, who endured a shaky start to the campaign, are determined to regain momentum as they host a resurgent Nasarawa side. The Solid Miners have shown improved form since their return to the top flight, making them a tricky opponent.
Enyimba coach Finidi George is expected to stick with his attacking trio of Chijioke Mbaoma, Elijah Akanni, and Joseph Atule, while Onyema will be entrusted with marshalling the defence from goal.
A win could see Enyimba climb closer to the league’s front-runners, while defeat or a draw would heap more pressure on the reigning champions.

We echo Onyema’s words “three points or nothing” must be the rallying cry for Enyimba. This club is not just another NPFL side it is the most successful in Nigeria, with a legacy built on dominance at home and recognition across Africa. Settling for less is unacceptable.
