Nasarawa United Reveal Striking New Kits for 2025/26 NPFL Season

At a modest ceremony in Lafia on Friday evening, Nasarawa United’s Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, unveiled the club’s new jerseys in the presence of the Nasarawa State Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, and the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu.

The kits, designed by China-based Elite King Sports Limited, owned by former Nigerian junior international Tunde Seun Olokigbe, combine bold colours with sleek patterns, offering both comfort and style. With six distinct options created for home, away, and neutral outings, the club hopes to make a strong impression on and off the field.

Speaking at the event, Babanjah, alongside Board Member and Media Director, Eche Amos, emphasised that the new jerseys embody the spirit and values of the Solid Miners. Dr. Akabe praised the club’s initiative and offered his best wishes for the new NPFL season, which kicked off on 22nd August 2025.

Yakubu noted that the Acting Governor’s approval of the kits highlights the administration’s commitment to sports development under Governor Abdullahi Sule. He added that the striking designs are expected to energise the players as they face Niger Tornadoes next Wednesday in a rescheduled league fixture at the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin.

Currently, the Solid Miners are camped in Abuja, preparing for the North Central derby clash at 4pm.
