Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has officially rejoined Kano Pillars on a short-term contract. This marks Musa’s third stint with the Nigerian Premier Football League NPFL side, having previously played for them in 2009/10 and 2021. Alongside Musa, former international Shehu Abdullahi has also re signed with the club. Both players were spotted training with the team ahead of their NPFL matchday five game against Sunshine Stars.
Shehu Abdullahi, who last played for Kano Pillars in 2012, has been without a club since January 2023. Despite the NPFL 2024/25 summer transfer window being closed, both Musa and Abdullahi were able to join the squad as free agents.
