Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Chiamaka Nnadozie were among the first players to check into the Super Falcons’ training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, as Nigeria’s preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations get underway.
Also present in the early group are defenders Glory Ogbonna, Oluwatosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, and Shukurat Oladipo, along with midfielder Christy Ucheibe and goalkeeper Fatima Oloko. The Super Falcons officially opened camp on Monday, with 16 more players expected to arrive over the coming days as head coach Justine Madugu assembles his full squad.
The team will relocate to Rabat before the tournament proper begins. WAFCON 2026 runs from July 26 to August 16, and the defending champions open their Group C campaign against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday, July 28. Nigeria will also face Zambia and Egypt in the group stage as they push to retain the title.
