Belgian Club Genk Line Up Move for Durosinmi

Belgian Pro League side Genk are showing concrete interest in Pisa striker Rafiu Durosinmi, with the club reportedly prepared to pay around 10 million euros to bring the Nigeria international to Belgium.
Durosinmi’s spell in Italy has not gone to plan. He joined Pisa from Czech club Viktoria Plzen for around 11 million euros in January but managed just one goal in 12 competitive matches, failing to replicate the scoring form that made him a standout in the Czech league. With Pisa having been relegated to Serie B, the forward is understood to be eager to leave the club during the current transfer window.
According to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Genk are ready to move for the striker, and a deal at their reported valuation would make Durosinmi the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
Genk have a strong recent record of developing Nigerian forwards into Premier League ready talents. Both Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare came through the Belgian club before earning moves to England off the back of strong performances in the Belgian Pro League, a pathway that will only add to the appeal of a switch for Durosinmi.
Should the transfer go through, Durosinmi would become Genk’s second summer signing after Jeppe Erenbjerg.
