Nasarawa Amazons 0-0 Rivers Angels
Nasarawa Amazons are still searching for their first win in the Super Six after a goalless draw with Rivers Angels. Despite several opportunities, including a near miss by Olamide Adugbe for Rivers Angels in the fourth minute and Bibiana Odoh missing a clear chance for Nasarawa, the game ended in a stalemate. Rivers Angels are second on the table with five points from three games and will face Confluence Queens next. Nasarawa Amazons, with two points from three games, will play against in form Edo Queens.
Confluence Queens 0-2 Bayelsa Queens
Bayelsa Queens secured their second win of the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Confluence Queens. Goals from Zainab Olapade, who scored with a stunning free kick in the 23rd minute, and Chinyere Igboamalu, who netted in the 88th minute, ensured the win. Bayelsa Queens now top the table with seven points from three games and will next face Heartland Queens. Confluence Queens will play against Rivers Angels.
Heartland Queens 1-3 Edo Queens
Edo Queens bounced back from their 2-1 loss to Rivers Angels with a 3-1 victory over Heartland Queens. Chioma Moses opened the scoring in the 34th minute, followed by Kafayat Mafisere and Emem Essien extending the lead. Emmanuella James scored for Heartland Queens, but it wasn’t enough to prevent their second loss. Edo Queens will face table-toppers Bayelsa Queens next, while Heartland Queens aim to regroup.
