Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin has confirmed her departure from Turkish giants Galatasaray following a two year spell at the club, Complete Sports reports.

Demehin joined the Yellow and Reds on a free transfer in September 2024 after leaving French side Stade Reims, and extended her stay by signing a new one-year contract in August 2025. The 24 year old centre back has now brought her time in Istanbul to a close.

“An Incredible Chapter”

Writing on Instagram, Demehin thanked Galatasaray for an incredible chapter, saying it had been an honour to wear the club’s badge and that she leaves with respect, gratitude, pride and unforgettable memories, wishing the club continued success.

A Productive Spell In Turkey

The Nigeria international made 42 league appearances for Şaban Uzun’s side, scoring twice during her time at the club. She will now look ahead to the next chapter of her career following a successful stint in Turkish women’s football.
