He admitted the move was a calculated risk, saying, “I took the risk and it didn’t work,” while stressing the importance of understanding how a team truly operates before committing to a transfer.

Since leaving Southampton, Onuachu has rebuilt his career in Turkey, and he credits finding a system that plays to his strengths, along with a coach who trusts him, as the key factors behind regaining both his confidence and his scoring form.
