Tolu Arokodare’s Wolves future looks increasingly uncertain after the club left him out of their pre-season training squad, further fuelling speculation over a potential summer exit.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian forward was omitted from Wolves’ group for the start of pre-season preparations, a decision that has only intensified expectations he could leave Molineux before the window closes.

Serie A side Fiorentina remain firmly in the picture, with talks between the two clubs continuing despite Wolves rejecting the Italian side’s opening bid. Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor are also said to be tracking the situation, though Arokodare is understood to prefer a move to one of Europe’s top five leagues and is not keen on a switch to Turkey.

Wolves are under no immediate financial pressure to sell, with Arokodare under contract until 2029 and the club holding an option to extend by a further year. That security is expected to keep Wolves firm on demanding a significant fee before sanctioning any departure, even as Fiorentina push to reach an agreement in the coming days.
