Tom Dele-Bashiru is on the verge of a move to Greek Super League side Aris, with Watford accepting an offer of £425,000 for the midfielder.

Dele-Bashiru is expected to travel to Greece on Sunday, undergo a medical on Monday, and finalise personal terms on a three-year contract once the formalities of the transfer are complete.

The move follows a quiet season on loan at Turkish club Genclerbirligi, where the 26 year old made 28 league appearances without registering a single goal or assist.

Dele-Bashiru joined Watford from Manchester City in 2019 and went on to score six goals in 71 league appearances for the Hornets. He represented Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, having previously featured for England at Under-16 level.
