Super Eagles winger Moses Simon featured as Paris FC played out a goalless draw away at Troyes in Saturday’s Ligue 1 fixture at the Stade de l’Aube.
Simon was introduced at half-time in place of Koleosho and made an immediate impact on the game, giving Paris FC’s attack renewed energy in the second period.
Close, But No Breakthrough
The Nigerian international almost broke the deadlock in the 65th minute but couldn’t trouble the Troyes goalkeeper. He came closer to setting up a goal five minutes later, creating a chance for Sinayoko that went unconverted. Despite dominating possession for large spells, Paris FC found Troyes’ defence difficult to break down.
The hosts had their own late chance to snatch a shock win, but goalkeeper Trapp made a timely save in the 85th minute to preserve the point for the visitors. Neither side could find a way through in the closing stages, and the match finished goalless.
