Nigerian winger Ridwan Sanusi has completed a season-long loan move to Slovakian club AS Trencin from fellow Slovak side MSK Zilina.
The agreement, confirmed on Trencin’s official website, includes an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the loan spell.
A Career Built Entirely In Slovakia
Sanusi began his professional career with SKF Sered in 2021, before gaining valuable first team experience through loan spells at second tier clubs Trebisov and Pohronie. His breakthrough came at Podbrezova, where he scored 10 goals in 45 league appearances across two seasons, form that earned him a move to MSK Zilina last summer. He spent last season back out on loan at Podbrezova, registering three assists in 25 league appearances as the club secured a sixth place finish in the Slovak Niké Liga.
A Fresh Chance To Impress
The 23 year old right winger will now be hoping to establish himself at Trencin and make a strong enough impression during his loan spell to earn a permanent move.
