Madagascar’s Barea are set to unveil their squad for their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, with head coach Corentin Martins expected to include three new faces, according to Midi Madagasikara. As many as five players from the Malagasy League could also earn call-ups. Madagascar will travel to Uyo for the matchday one fixture on Thursday, September 25.

Guinea-Bissau To Follow With Their Own Announcement

Guinea-Bissau’s Djurtus are also expected to name their squad on Thursday, ahead of their matchday two meeting with Nigeria. Head coach Emiliano Té is set to reveal the squad during a media interaction at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro, the venue where the Djurtus will host the three time African champions on Tuesday, September 29.

Chelle Yet To Name His Squad

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has not yet announced his own squad for the two qualifying matches, with Nigeria opening their campaign at home to Madagascar before travelling to face Guinea-Bissau four days later.
