Kano Pillars have announced RAFA Detergent as their official front jersey sponsor. The club confirmed the deal on Sunday, October 4, in a statement welcoming the brand to the Kano Pillars family.

The RAFA logo will appear prominently on the front of the home and away jerseys for the 2026/27 NPFL season. It replaces Radio France International (RFI) Hausa, who were the front shirt partner last season in a ₦100 million deal.

What Pillars Said

The club said the partnership marks another important milestone in the growth of Sai Masu Gida. The new jerseys carrying the RAFA branding are expected to be unveiled before Matchday 8.

The next league games are away at Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Wednesday, October 7, and against Plateau United on Sunday, October 11. Fans who like to predict NPFL scores can try Bet9ja’s Super9ja prediction page.

The Funding Strategy

Pillars General Manager Ahmed Musa, the former Nigeria international, has been pushing to reduce the club’s dependence on state government funding by attracting private sector sponsors. That approach has already brought in RFI Hausa and several Kano-based businesses.

RAFA Detergent is described as one of the fastest-growing detergent brands in Northern Nigeria. It joins a short list of detergent brands to sponsor Pillars: Aspira Nigeria’s Viva were the club’s front sponsors in 2020/21.

Pillars on the Pitch

The sponsorship comes with the club unbeaten this season, with two wins and four draws from six games. They sit fifth after the 1-1 draw with Sporting Lagos on October 3. New bettors following the club can read Bet9ja’s promo code starter notes.

No value has been given for the new deal, while last season’s RFI Hausa partnership was worth ₦100 million.

Coach Daniel Ogunmodede said Pillars played better than in the previous game against Sporting Lagos, but admitted the team must turn things around.
