Shooting Stars defender Damilola Adelowo says he is confident the club can get a positive result against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie on Sunday night.
A Narrow Lead To Protect
Salisu Yusuf’s side travel to the Stade Taieb Mhiri in Sfax holding a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Abeokuta. Adelowo and his teammates arrived in the Tunisian city on Wednesday to begin preparations for the decisive fixture.
Adelowo’s Message Ahead Of Kick-Off
Taking to X ahead of the match, the defender shared a personal note of hope for the team, expressing his wish that the trip would be a positive one and that Shooting Stars would come away with the result they need to advance and return home with the tie won.
With the first leg advantage in hand, Shooting Stars know a draw or win in Sfax would be enough to book their place in the next round of the competition.
