Femi Azeez is set for a late fitness test ahead of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Carabao Cup third-round clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
A Debut Still On Hold
Azeez joined Brighton from Championship side Millwall on transfer deadline day, but a minor hamstring injury picked up during Millwall’s opening-day match against Bristol City has delayed his first appearance for the Seagulls. Head coach Fabian Hurzeler said ahead of the trip that the winger will be assessed before a final decision is made on his availability.
Yohanna Also Sidelined
Fellow Nigerian Zadok Yohanna will miss the game through injury as well, with the young defender expected to return to action after the upcoming international break.
Brighton Riding High
Brighton head into the cup tie full of confidence following an impressive 5-0 win over Coventry City at the weekend, and will look to carry that momentum into their bid to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
