Moses Aduku’s side booked their place in the last 16 in style, thrashing tournament debutants New Caledonia 10-1 in their final Group C fixture. Nigeria had earlier opened their campaign with matches against Spain and China PR in Sosnowiec before travelling to Lodz for the New Caledonia game.
