Enyimba FC players and officials made a special stop on their journey to Gombe to celebrate with forward Samaila Bello and his wife following the birth of their child. The squad took time out of their travel to share in the couple’s joy and welcome the newest addition to the Bello family.

The heartwarming moment offered a light hearted pause amid preparations, as Enyimba made their way to Gombe for their Euromatch 2026/27 NPFL matchday three clash against league leaders Doma United.
Contrasting League Positions
Doma United go into the game on top of the table with six points from two matches, while Enyimba sit 17th having played just one fixture so far. Their only league outing ended in a 2-1 away defeat to Niger Tornadoes, with their scheduled second match postponed after their opponents’ involvement in a CAF club competition.
