The 20 year old Nigerian moved to Leipzig from Slovakian club AS Trencin in January 2026 but never made a competitive appearance for the club, with fitness issues limiting his chances of breaking into the first team.
Breakthrough Years In Slovakia
Suleiman’s move to Europe began with AS Trencin in 2024, following an impressive run at Nigeria National League side Akwa United. He went on to score five goals in 34 league appearances for the Slovakian club, form that helped earn him a place in the Flying Eagles squad at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
A New Chapter In Saudi Arabia
Suleiman will now look to revive his career and get regular game time as he begins a new chapter with Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia.
