The visitors set the tone early, with Ilan Sinayoko opening the scoring inside the first minute. Marseille hit back through Amine Gouiri in the eighth minute, only for Sinayoko to restore Paris FC’s lead with his second of the afternoon in the 19th. Gouiri levelled things up again with a low finish past goalkeeper Kevin Trapp in the 53rd minute, setting up a tense finish.
With the game delicately poised, Sinayoko completed his hat-trick in the 86th minute to hand Paris FC the win, a result that came in a match that swung back and forth throughout.

Simon’s introduction late in the game continued his build-up of minutes since joining Paris FC, and while he is still searching for his opening goal for the club, his cameo added fresh legs to the side as they closed out a hard fought victory.
