Official: Dele-Bashiru Completes Move to Greek Club Aris FC
The former Flying Eagles midfielder has signed a three-year deal in Thessaloniki, ending a six year association with Watford.

Tom Dele-Bashiru has completed his move to Greek Super League club Aris FC from Watford, signing a three-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based side and bringing his six year spell with the Hornets to a close.
The 27 year old spent last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Genclerbirligi, where he impressed with consistent performances, making 30 appearances across all competitions.
Speaking to Aris’ official website, Dele-Bashiru said he was excited about the new challenge, adding that he had already spoken with teammate Benjamin Garret to learn more about the club. He said he was joining a team with high ambitions and was eager to get started with his new coach and teammates.
A product of Manchester City’s academy, Dele-Bashiru made his senior debut for the Premier League champions in an EFL Cup tie in 2017, before joining Watford in the summer of 2019. He went on to make 81 appearances across all competitions for the Hornets, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
On the international stage, Dele-Bashiru represented England at Under-16 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria. He featured for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, scoring once during the tournament and establishing himself as one of the squad’s standout performers.
