Comfort Erhabor Arrives at Super Falcons’ Pre-WAFCON Camp in Casablanca
The 20 year old Portsmouth goalkeeper has earned her first invitation to a major tournament with Nigeria’s senior women’s team, joining fellow Europe-born players Toni Payne and Rinsola Babajide in camp.

Comfort Erhabor has reported to the Super Falcons’ training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, as Nigeria intensifies preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The 20 year old shot-stopper is now part of the 25 player group head coach Justine Madugu is relying on as Nigeria chases a record extending 11th WAFCON title. The Super Falcons open their title defence against Malawi on July 28, before facing Zambia and then Egypt in the group stage, with the tournament running from July 26 to August 16.
This marks Erhabor’s first invitation to a major tournament with Nigeria’s senior women’s national team. She arrived in camp alongside fellow Europe-born players Toni Payne and Rinsola Babajide.
Erhabor was previously involved with Nigeria’s Under-17 side, the Flamingos, and has come through club spells in England at West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion. She celebrated her first senior call up on X, sharing a short post thanking God for the honour.
Born in the Netherlands on April 26, 2005, to Nigerian parents from Edo State, Erhabor was raised in England, where she trained at West Ham’s academy before signing her first professional contract with Brighton in January 2024. She went on loan spells at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle over the following two seasons before joining Portsmouth in July 2025 on a one-year deal with the option of an extension. She made her senior Nigeria debut in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Cameroon in Yaounde on February 28.
