Fenerbahce Sign Nigerian Midfielder

Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Suliat Abideen, adding the 24 year old attacking player to their women’s squad on a contract that runs until the end of the season.
Abideen joins from fellow Turkish side ABB Fomget, where she was a standout performer in last season’s Turkcell Women’s Super League. Announcing the move on their official website, Fenerbahce welcomed her to the club and wished her success in the club’s colours.
The midfielder will link up with fellow Nigerians Flourish Sebastine and Regina Otu, both already part of Fenerbahce’s squad, giving the club a notable Nigerian presence heading into the new season.
Abideen arrives with an impressive recent resume. She won the Nigeria Women Football League title in 2024 and was named Player of the Tournament, and was also named Most Valuable Player at the 2024 WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
Fenerbahce won the Turkcell Women’s Football Super League last season and will compete in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in the 2026/27 campaign.
