In the tournament, they are drawn in Group 3 alongside Swedish clubs Degerfors IF and IF Elfsborg, as well as FK Cukaricki from Serbia. This year’s Gothia Cup will feature 1904 teams from 76 countries. Notably, Super Eagles and Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf played in the 2017 Gothia Cup, which led to his professional contract with Swedish club IFK Goteborg.
