Kirfi Local Government Area emerged victorious at the 2nd Bauchi State Sports Festival, clinching the top spot with 25 gold, 19 silver, and 12 bronze medals after 10 days of competition at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium. Al Kaleri LG secured second place with 9 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze, while Bauchi LG took third with 6 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze.
Other notable performances included Bogoro LG in fourth place with 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze, and Ganjuwa LG in fifth with 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. In total, 17 LGAs won medals, while Darazo, Gamawa, and Warji LGAs did not secure any medals.
