Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, have arrived in Rabat ahead of their opening game at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. As reported by FootballInNigeria.com.ng, head coach Akeem Busari’s side travelled from Casablanca on Tuesday.
The squad held its final training session in Casablanca on Monday night. They then had a light session in Rabat after arriving on Tuesday.
The team is staying at the Complexe Sportif Feminin. Their opener against Poland is on Saturday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, Pitch 4, with kick-off at 8:00 p.m.
Group B Opponents
Nigeria are in Group B with Poland, Puerto Rico and DPR Korea. After Poland on October 17, they face Puerto Rico on October 20 and DPR Korea on October 23.
DPR Korea are the biggest name in the group, having won the last two editions of the tournament. Poland reached the quarter finals on their debut in 2024.

Nigeria earned their place by winning the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Championship with five wins in five games. They conceded only one goal in the tournament.
