Serie A club AC Monza have officially confirmed the loan signing of Nigeria international Ebenezer Akinsanmiro from Inter Milan, with the deal including an obligation to buy upon the fulfilment of specific conditions.
Born in Lagos in November 2004, Akinsanmiro began his career in the youth ranks of Remo Stars, making his top flight debut for the Nigerian club at a young age. He moved to Inter’s Primavera Under-19 squad in January 2023, and during the 2023-24 season made 28 appearances across the league and the Primavera Coppa Italia, scoring six goals with two assists.
His performances caught the eye of Inter’s first-team coach, and he made his Serie A debut for the Nerazzurri against Lecce in February 2024, later celebrating a league title with the club at the end of that season.
He spent the following season on loan at Sampdoria, making 38 appearances across Serie B and the Coppa Italia, before joining Pisa on loan for the 2025-26 campaign, where he featured in 25 matches across the league and the Coppa Italia.
Akinsanmiro has earned one cap for Nigeria, coming in a friendly against Egypt in December 2025.
