Ikorodu City striker Joseph Arumala has completed a permanent transfer to Egyptian Premier League club Al Ittihad.

Arumala joins the Alexandria-based club after a standout debut NPFL season, in which he scored 13 goals and provided two assists for the Oga Boys. Despite his individual form, it wasn’t enough to secure continental football for Ikorodu City, who finished fourth in the league table.

A Breakout Season In Lagos

Arumala arrived at Ikorodu City ahead of the 2025/26 season and quickly established himself as a key figure in the side, with his direct running, pace and eye for goal making him a fan favourite during his time at the Lagos club. Ikorodu City sent a farewell message to the striker on X following confirmation of the move, wishing him well as he begins this next chapter of his career in Egypt.
