Nigeria’s Super Falcons will resume full training on Monday evening as preparations intensify for their decisive final Group C fixture against Egypt at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The training session, scheduled to begin at 6:00pm local time, will take place at the ASFAR Training Centre in Rabat, where head coach Justine Madugu is expected to fine-tune his tactics ahead of Wednesday’s encounter. The nine time African champions had a light recovery session and other in-house activities on Sunday after grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Zambia at the Al Madina Stadium on Saturday night.

Asisat Oshoala’s early strike secured Nigeria’s first win of the tournament, with the Super Falcons showing remarkable resilience to hold on for all three points despite playing the entire second half with 10 players following Oluwatosin Demehin’s red card just before the interval. The victory revived Nigeria’s quarter final hopes after their disappointing 3-2 defeat to tournament debutants Malawi in their opening Group C match.
