The Super Eagles will hold a closed-door training session on Sunday morning before departing for Bissau ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday two clash against Guinea-Bissau.
Travel Plans Confirmed
According to Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe, the session will take place at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. Head coach Eric Chelle and his players are expected to arrive at the Victor Attah International Airport at 2pm, with the squad’s flight to Bissau scheduled to depart at 3pm.
A Recovery Session After The Madagascar Win
The Super Eagles held a recovery session on Saturday night following their 2-1 victory over Madagascar’s Barea on Friday. Tuesday’s encounter with Guinea-Bissau is set for the Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau, with kick off scheduled for 5pm Nigerian time.
