Smart City FC attacking prospect Lawal Muiz has ramped up his personal training programme ahead of the new Nigeria National League season, determined to turn his natural skill and attacking instincts into consistent performances for the Lagos club.
Discipline And Focus The Priority
Muiz, known for his dribbling ability, creativity and eye for goal, says his main areas of focus heading into the campaign are greater discipline, sharper concentration and extra work on the training pitch. He believes the club has already given the squad everything needed to compete, leaving it up to the players to deliver once the season gets underway.
Muiz’s Own Words
Speaking about his mindset going into the new campaign, Muiz said, “As a player, I have decided to increase my own training, become more disciplined and remain focused.” He added that with the club having provided all the necessary support, it is now down to the players to do their part.
A Season To Prove Himself
The young forward will be looking to play a key role for Smart City this season, particularly in the final third, where his ability to beat defenders and create chances could prove valuable. Rather than relying purely on natural ability, Muiz is placing extra emphasis on the less glamorous side of his game, betting that discipline and hard work will help him establish himself as one of the players to watch in the NNL this season.
