Winger Femi Azeez is in line to make his Brighton & Hove Albion debut against Coventry City on Sunday, after a minor injury delayed his first appearance since joining from Championship side Millwall on transfer deadline day.
A Short Stay At Millwall
Azeez, formerly of Reading, had only just made one appearance for Millwall this season before the switch to Brighton went through. His time at the Den was brief, but his form in the Championship last season was strong enough to earn him a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Season.
Nearing Full Fitness
Head coach Fabian Hurzeler confirmed the 25 year old is close to full fitness and expected to train with the squad, with hopes he will be available for selection at the CBS Arena.
Brighton Look To Bounce Back
Brighton were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United last weekend and have collected just one win from their opening three Premier League fixtures. Azeez will hope to make an immediate impact if given the nod, as Hurzeler’s side look to get back to winning ways against Coventry.
