Plateau United head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has appealed to the club’s fans to remain patient and continue supporting the team throughout the 2026/27 NPFL season, after the Peace Boys picked up their first win of the campaign.
First Win Of The Season
Plateau United beat Kwara United 1-0 at the New Jos Stadium on matchday two, with Sam Pam scoring the only goal of the game 10 minutes into the second half.
Ogunbote’s Message To The Fans
Speaking to the club’s media afterward, Ogunbote expressed confidence that the team’s hard work will pay off over time, and told supporters, “They will definitely be proud of our hard work at the end of the 2026-27 season,” while urging them to keep faith through both the difficult and the good moments of the campaign.
