NPFL side Kun Khalifat unveiled the club’s technical crew and management staff on Tuesday ahead of the kick off of the 2026/27 top-flight campaign.
Obinna Uzoho retained his position as Technical Adviser of the ‘KK Boys’, while Chinedu Okonkwo will serve as Chief Coach. Patrick Ukaegbu and Esinaulo Moses were named Assistant Coach and Trainer respectively, with Mere Michael Ozoemena appointed Goalkeeper Trainer and Gerald Akakem taking on the role of Assistant Coach II.
Changes In The Boardroom
At management level, former General Manager Charles “Tigana” Nnadi did not retain his position, with Alhaji J.O. Rabiu unveiled as the club’s new General Manager. The Sporting Director role, previously held by former Nigeria international Ifeanyi Anaemena before his resignation late last season, has been scrapped in favour of a new Team Manager position, which goes to Cole Oluwayemisi. Several other appointments were also confirmed, including Opurum Humphrey as Club Secretary and Opara Lawrence as Assistant Kit Manager, while Godwin Saviola retains his role as Media Officer alongside new addition Ofodile David Chibuzor.
Amaefula Outlines Vision For The Season
Club CEO Michael Amaefule said the unveiling marked another step in Kun Khalifat’s pursuit of excellence, explaining that every department had been strengthened during the transfer window. He described the new backroom staff as the engine room of the club and urged them to justify the confidence placed in them, while thanking supporters and partners for their continued belief in the project as the team targets a stronger campaign than the one before.
