Luigi Turci, former AC Milan goalkeeping coach, has publicly expressed confidence in Okoye’s return, telling Messaggero Veneto that the Nigerian international is poised to re-enter with renewed drive.

“I believe we will see a new man. He will want to regain credibility with everyone around him,” Turci said. “He may lack match rhythm initially, but he will compensate with enthusiasm and attention.”
