Nigerian goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has officially joined Portsmouth FC Women on a permanent basis, ahead of the 2025–26 Women’s Super League 2 campaign. The 20 year old completed a free transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion, signing a one year contract with an option to extend for another season.
Erhabor first impressed while on loan at Portsmouth during the latter half of last season, where she became an integral part of the squad. She previously gained experience on loan at Plymouth Argyle and Scottish side Hibernian, following her development at Brighton’s academy.
Portsmouth head coach Jay Sadler praised her character and shot-stopping ability, saying: “Comfort has real potential and will bring strong competition to our goalkeeping department.” His confidence in her capabilities was clear, as the club looks to build on its survival in WSL 2.
