Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna has confirmed her departure from Turkish club Beşiktaş at the conclusion of her contract.
The Nigeria international joined Beşiktaş midway through the 2022–23 season, following spells in Sweden and with ALG Spor. Over the last two seasons, she featured in 28 league outings, scoring once, and was widely praised for her defensive contributions during Nigeria’s Women’s World Cup campaign.
Ogbonna told local media that she is grateful for the experience, stating the fans, teammates and staff had supported her growth both on and off the pitch. While she has not yet revealed her next destination, the defender hinted that new opportunities will soon be unveiled.
