End of the Road: Luton Town Part Ways with Victor Moses

Former Chelsea star and 2013 AFCON winner Victor Moses is now a free agent following his release from Luton Town after the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. Luton Town, who were relegated to the third tier of English football, confirmed the departure of Moses as part of their retained and released list published last Friday.

Moses joined Luton Town on a free transfer last September after leaving Spartak Moscow. However, his time at the club was marred by limited game time, as he was frozen out of the squad during the second half of the season. The Nigerian winger did not feature in the club’s final 19 Championship games and was deemed surplus to requirements. Overall, Moses made 18 appearances for the Hatters, scoring one goal and accumulating 1,135 minutes of play.

Meanwhile, Aribim Pepple, a tri-national forward eligible to represent Nigeria, Canada, and England, will return to Luton Town after his loan spell with Chesterfield ends in June.
