Polish Ekstraklasa side Śląsk Wrocław has announced the signing of former Fulham academy product Sylvester Jasper. The 23 year old forward, eligible to play for Nigeria through his father, has joined Śląsk Wrocław on a free transfer after mutually terminating his contract with Portuguese side Portimonense in August 2024.
Jasper, who has represented both England and Bulgaria at youth level, signed a contract with Śląsk Wrocław until June 2026, with an option to extend for another year. Last season, he scored two goals and provided two assists in 24 appearances in Portugal’s top flight, but chose to leave after Portimonense’s relegation.
In his first comments as a Wrocław player, Jasper expressed his excitement for this new challenge, saying, I am very happy to join Śląsk Wrocław. This is something completely new for me, and I’m ready to give my best for the team.
