The 20 year old attacking midfielder, who had been on loan at Budapest BVSC during the 2024–25 season, is now back with Debrecen as they prepare for the upcoming Nemzeti Bajnokság I season<. Nwachukwu's return follows a successful loan spell at BVSC-Zugló, where he made 11 appearances in the Merkantil Bank Liga (NB II), accumulating 785 minutes of playtime. While he didn't score any goals, his performances were solid, and he received one yellow card during his time there. Debrecen's pre-season preparations began on June 18, 2025, with a summer training camp in Austria starting on June 22.
