Beyond Limits Academy secures licence for first-ever football-plus-school in Nigeria

The youth-development arm of Remo Stars FC, Beyond Limits Football Academy (BLFA), has earned full accreditation from the Federal Ministry of Education to establish a specialised school combining secondary-level academics with elite football training.

Based in Ikenne, Ogun State, the newly approved institution – to be called Beyond Limits Football College – will offer a full secondary curriculum alongside daily football sessions. Students at the school will pursue academic qualifications and high-level sport simultaneously.

Officials at the academy described the approval as the validation of years of investment in youth development and educational excellence. They said the move positions the institution as Nigeria’s first fully-accredited football-education institution, serving as a model for others to replicate.

The college will initially write major national examinations through partner community schools, with plans to host such exams on-campus within its Ikenne facility in due course.
