Confluence Queens ended their long wait for a first victory in the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership, delivering an eye-catching 3–0 away win in Lagos to lift spirits in a difficult campaign.
The Lokoja-based side broke their drought on Matchday Six, scoring three goals without reply in a dominant display that marked their best result of the season so far.
After a goalless first half, Blessing Sunday opened the scoring in the 54th minute, before Seember Emmanuel added a second in the 65th minute and capped the night with a stoppage-time strike to seal all three points for the visitors.
